Our philosophy in the kitchen is the same as in our winery - showcase the best quality produce available. Our menu pays tribute to some of the finest ingredients available both locally and abroad.

Tapas

We think the best way to taste our wines is with food and the experience is even better when it is shared. With this in mind, we have assembled a menu that is focused on grazing dishes or “tapas”  - beautifully simple and fresh. They range from small appetisers into more substantial dishes (half-meal portions). We encourage your table to order a selection of these, which can be served all together, or we can stagger them so you can enjoy the “grazing” experience.

Wood fired pizzas

We make authentic artisan, wood fired oven pizzas, using 100 per cent organic sourdough bases, made on site. The toppings are simple but effective, showing off the very best produce that we can source both regionally and from Italy. Items such as San Marzano tomatoes, considered by many chefs to be the best paste tomatoes in the world, and Shaw River buffalo mozzarella are staples. We also use local garlic, seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs grown in old wine barrels in our garden. Buon appetito.

Drink

It's not just Giant Steps and Innocent Bystander wine within our walls.  As you work your way through the wood-fired pizzas, tapas and salumi, pay close attention to the carefully chosen guest wine list and global beer selection to compliment our culinary creations. 

Our guest wine list, inspired by the wines we'd like to drink from other local Yarra Valley growers, Australian favourites and old world influential loves.

Opening times and reservations policy

Restaurant is open 9am - 9pm, Sunday-Thursday; 9am - 10pm, Friday and Saturday

Bookings are recommended to avoid potential wait times.

Please note we don't take booking of larger than 8 in our main restaurant space from Friday through to Sunday 6pm.
