It all started in the Yarra Valley, when a curious brewer wandered into wine country with zero plans to play by the rules.
Instead of blending in, he stirred things up, tore up the winemaking playbook, and built a brand that wore its outsider status like a badge of honour.
He called it Innocent Bystander.
The Yarra Valley will always be our home turf. The place where we cut our teeth making Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris that spoke louder than any winemaking manual ever could. We’ve never been ones to sit still. So we wander. From cool-climate whites in Tassie to bold Heathcote reds and aromatic King Valley drops, we’re chasing flavour, not fame. Great wine doesn’t come from comfort zones, it comes from curiosity, guts, and a deep love of sharing something genuinely good.
